Alando C. Walker, 67, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 in Lilburn, Georgia. He was born on June 15, 1953 in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late David Walker, Sr. and Plyna Walker.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Sixth Avenue Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama. He was educated in the Jefferson County School System where he attended Wenonah High School (Class of 1972).

Alando brought joy to every occasion. He had a way of lighting up the room when he arrived. His laugh was hearty enough to fill any room and he had a way of making everyone else smile. He did not believe in the concept of aging. He took pride in dressing fashionably, looking debonair, enjoying life, and staying current. He was full of wisdom and he loved sharing stories with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Walker, Sr., Plyna Walker and his sister, Denise Walker Graham.

Survivors include: his sons; a daughter; grandchildren; siblings; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, family, neighbors, classmates and friends.

Funeral Services were held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Brooks Family Funeral Home, 2885 Allison Bonnett Memorial Drive, Hueytown, Alabama 35023. Interment followed at Highland Memorial Gardens, 3115 18th Avenue North, Bessemer, Alabama 35020.
