"Cullen Blake Hatcher, age 25, of Bonnieville, KY, departed this life on Friday, February 26, 2021 at his residence. The Hart County native was born** on March 25, 1995 to Jerome and Teresa Hatcher, who survive.

Cullen was a 2012 graduate of Hart County High School. He obtained his certification as a nursing assistant, and most recently worked in Colorado. Cullen was saved on July 10, 2004 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his passing. He was compassionate about helping others, social justice causes and expanding his knowledge in the areas that most interested him. He loved listening to music and valued time spent with Chopper.

Besides his parents, he leaves to honor his memory—his sister, Alexa Hatcher of Bowling Green; paternal grandmother, Sue Blaies (Herb) of Glasgow; maternal grandparents, Tommy Matthews of Bonnieville and Doris Matthews of Horse Cave and his best friend and canine companion, Chopper. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herschel Hatcher .

Interment will be in New Hope Church Cemetery.
