Suggested edit: Lavina/Lovina Conrad was named as a daughter of Christopher Conrad (Will Vol. A, 1852, Hocking County, Ohio). Her birth year varies in the records, but she was listed as being 18 in the 1850 census with her parents in Hocking County, Ohio. She married Daniel Amspaugh on October 27, 1853 in Hocking County. Conrad was the oldest of nine known children of John Amspaucher/Amspaugh (1799-1848) and Katherine Rittgers (1807-1871). By 1880, Conrad and Lavina had moved from Hocking County to Washington Township, Adams County, Indiana. Conrad's brother, Noah Amspaugh, was an early settler there. Two other brothers, Jonas and Daniel, settled in neaby Darke County, Ohio. Lavina and Conrad both died in Adams County, Indiana. They had no children.
