Patricia Ann Rumsey was called home to glory on October 8, 2007. She was born August 30, 1951 to the late Bernard Williams and Viola Rumsey. Patricia (Sissy as she was called by family and friends) received her early education at Central Consolidated in Bel Air, Maryland. She was employed as a cook for a local restaurant from 1999 until her illness in 2003. Sissy enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and elderly relatives. She also enjoyed cooking and doing crossword puzzles. She was a fun loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She always enjoyed family gatherings. Sissy leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Victoria Rumsey, of Edgewood, Md.; Toya Johnson, Sanford, Florida; two sons, George Johnson, Jr., Houston TX; Andre Johnson, Bel Air, Md; one brother, Earl Rumsey, Belcamp, Md; (wife Ithoe Rumsey), six grandsons, Richard Carroll Jr, Edgewood, Md; DeAndre Henson, Aberdeen, Md; Arthur Williams, Houston, TX; Alvon Johnson, Houston, TX; Tyree Johnson, Woodbridge, Virginia; Avion Johnson, Houston, TX; three granddaughters, Shanay Williams, Edgewood, Md; Jahseima Jean Pierre, Sanford, FL; Nasir Booker-Johnson, New Jersey.She also leaves to mourn two aunts, Susie Tildon, and Erma Rumsey, both of Bel Air, Md., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friend. A viewing was held October 16th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Clarks United Methodist Church 2001 Kalmia Road, Bel Air, to be directly followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Angela Martin presiding. Burial will be in Clarks United Methodist Cemetery, Bel Air, MD.
