He was the son of the late Jackson and Margaret Brookover Horner.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Moundsville and the Jr. OUAM.
He was a retired outside Foreman for the Moundsville Water Department.
He was survived by his wife, Josie; two daughters, Mrs. Elwood "Gaye" Marple, Mrs. Pauline Lancaster, both of Moundsville; one brother, Harvey Anderson, New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Mrs. George Myers, New Martinsville, Mrs. Odgar Hibbs, of Moundsville; One grandchild and two great grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Lutes Funeral Home, Moundsville. Services were officiated by Rev. Russell Smith. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
