"Roy Henry Zepp, fifty-three, a corporal in the protective force at the Army Transportation Corps depot at Marietta, died at his home, 122 Beaver St., at 5:18 a.m. Sunday after an illness of four years. Zepp, a son of the late Ezra G. and Ida Markle Zepp, was born at Hanover and had resided in Lancaster for the past 31 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War I. He is survived by his wife, the former Irene Catherine Stumpf, and the following children: Ida J., wife of Leo Huffman, Elizabeth Mary, wife of Elmer Ruth, Charles R., Roy Henry, Margaret M., and Gerald E., all of this city. One sister, Mazie, wife of Naylor Tate, and ten grandchildren also survive."
