Our mother loved to crotchet. When we were younger and going to school she sewed nearly everything we wore. She loved her roses, especially one that was called Tropicana. Mama taught us how to sew,cook and can the vegatables that we raised in our garden. Our Mom was 29 years old when our dad passed away so she had 3 young children Leslie, Mildred and Leslie (Johnnie)to raise by herself. Mama had 7 grandchildren of her own, Brenda, Bruce, Bobbi, Bambi, Melinda, David and Lothar. She had 5 great grandchildren, Jason, Jed, Jared, Alexandria and Kimberly and 3 great great grand children, Kairi, Severan and Tyrion. And numerous grand children, great grand children and great great grand children from her 2nd husband Eldon Orendorff.
