Born in Albany, Ga., Miss Brandau moved to Williamsburg in 1983 from Atlanta. She was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Stone Mountain, Ga., a charter member of the Culinary Historians of Virginia, and the Association for Living History Farming Agricultural Museum.
Miss Brandau was the manager of the Colonial Williamsburg Foodway Program.
Survived by her mother, Elise Brandau of Stone Mountain; two sisters, Trudy Brandau of Statham, Ga., and Julie Ann Scholte of Lilburn, Ga.; and two nieces.
Memorial service will held at 6 tonight at the Bruton Parish Episcopal Church. A graveside service will be held Wednesday in Snellville, Ga. Memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Coalition. Call 1-800-935-0434.
