Ann Louisa Clark, a twin dau. of Abraham Clark and Millicent Washburn, b. Dec. 9, 1822 at Farmington, Conn. She d. Nov. 20, 1896 at Stockton, CA.

On Oct. 18, 1842 at Platteville, Wisconsin, Ann m. as his 2nd wife, Rev. John Calvin Holbrook, s. of John Holbrook and Sarah Knowlton, b. Jan. 7, 1808 at Brattleboro, VT. He d. in 1900 at Stockton, CA where both he and Ann are interred. They had no natural children, but adopted two orphaned sisters and raised them until they married. Both Ann and Rev. Holbrook died while residing with the family of their eldest adopted dau. at Stockton.
