Daughter of Simone Richard Alford and Ruth McCloud Boman. In her early life she worked in the textile industry, but finished her employment days with the U.S. Forestry’s Senior Program. She was a long time member of the Pentecostal holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Huey, 2 sons Robert Huey and Scott Huey, daughter in law Kathy Huey, and granddaughter Lorie Huey. She is survived by her sons, Joe (Teresa) Huey and Jesse (Joyce) Huey -all of Eatonton; daughter, Charlotte (husband, Ferrell) Thompson of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Joe Huey, Jr., James Huey, Tim Alford, Trapper Huey, Augustus Gardner, Jand Joshua Harper, Lindsay Huey Patterson, Whitney Huey Crooks, and Colby Huey; and many great grandchildren.
