Last rites for Jesse W. Vanhoozer, age 31, who died suddenly at his home at Duck Hill March 10th, were held at the graveside in Duck Hill Cemetery Saturday morning, March 12th, at eleven o'clock. Rev. J. L. Crumbly of Coffeeville, Miss., officiated. Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers were Barry Caffey, Gilbert Sheile, R. H. Shiele, Tillman Holmes, John Ed Shiele and Charles Frank Ables.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Adams Vanhoozer of Duck Hill; three daughters, Donna Joy, age 8, Cordelia Ann, age 5, and Beulah Lucille, age 3; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Vanhoozer of Torrence, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Mae Barrentine, and one brother, Ernest Vanhoozer, both of Torrence.
