"It was strange because, when I saw the break-in on the program with the news, they said it was a flight bound for Paris," said his mother, Lisa Michaelson. "I don't know if it was a mother's instinct or what, but I knew he was on that plane." Rojany worked in a restaurant in Brentwood, Calif., where he met Larry Brown, the coach of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, who arranged a tryout with the Italian team.
