Ardeen J. Dale Adkins, 50, 526 N. Jefferson St., died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Adkins, who was born in Hagerstown, grew up in Knightstown Children's Home, where she graduated from high school. She lived in Indianapolis before coming to Muncie in 1962.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Joe and Erin Adkins, Kent, Wash., Robert Joe and Pamela Ann Adkins, and Randy Dale and Kimberly Adkins, all of Muncie; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Lynne and Danny Cook, Muncie, and Nickie Sue and Joseph Brogdon, Losantville; her twin sister, Arleen Miller, Muncie; a brother, Jack Dale, Muncie; a stepbrother, David Eugene Cox, Indianapolis; a stepsister, Janet Vivian Tuhey, Springport; her former husband, Robert Vere Adkins, Muncie; 14 grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.
Her parents, William E. and Betty Dale, are deceased.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Meeks Mortuary. Burial will be in Springport Cemetery. Calling is 4-8 p.m. today and before services Tuesday at the mortuary.
