Marlyn Louise Karl (nee Esterly) age 72, of Falls Township, PA, died on Sunday March 12, 2006, at Chandler Hall in Newtown, Pa.
She was born January 12,1934, in Altoona, Pa., to George Stuart and Margaret (Peters) Esterly and had one brother, Jack, all whom preceded her in death. She was a 1951 gradute of Altoona High School.
On December 27, 1950 she was married to Raymond E. Karl, also of Altoona. They had two children, Gail R. and Raymond A. In 1953 they moved to Fairless Hills and Marlyn had two more children: Cristopher R. married to Nicole Magyar, and Kristal L. married to Thomas Potts. She had seven grandchildren and will also be sadly missed by two cousins, Barbara Maugans of Buffalo, and Jean Jaudy of Bethel Park, Pa. Mrs. Karl was a member of Church of God . She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Newtown Cemetery.
