Sadie "Syd" (Yush) Shapiro Goldberg, 82, of Bloomfield, CT, died Sunday, December 27, 1992 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Hartford. Born in Hartford, she lived in the Hartford area all her life. She graduated from Weaver High School in 1929, and was a retired employee of G. Fox & Co., and Travelers Insurance Co.
She leaves her husband Sidney A. Goldberg, two daughters, Elinor and Rosalie; two brothers, Benjamin Yush and Louis Yush; two sisters, Evelyn Lappen and Lynnette Bass; three grandchildren; a step-daughter, two step-grandchildren, and a step-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her first husband Harry Shapiro (in 1947), two brothers David Yush and Leonard Yush, a sister Rose Snyde, and a step-daughter Ina Rosenthal.
