Ardath W. Hunt, son of Benjamin and Annie Hunt, was born November 18, 1898 at Pleasant Hill, Missouri and died September 4, 1975 at Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Kansas.
He was chairman of the board of the Davis-Hunt Grain Company in the Board of Trade Building in Kansas City, Missouri for many years.
He was married to Faye Burr on March 19, 1928. She passed away on April 10, 1973.
He is survived by one daughter Jessie Ann Lopez of Kansas City, Missouri; one granddaughter Andrea C Lopez and one sister-in-law Willma Burr of Blue Rapids.
Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian Church Saturday, September 8 at 1:30 p.m. Rev Craig Rackliffe officiated and organist was Mrs. Robert Schwartz.
Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery with Bill Schafer, Elwood Baker, Nels Johnson, John Kotapish, Arlie Persell and Ben Mall as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers were Russell Stryker, Kenneth Hill, Kenneth Fincham, Robert Schwartz and Albert Boyakin.
Funeral arrangements were by Perry Funeral home.
