Alicia was born on August 28, 1924 in Panama, where she met and married the love of her life, Virgil R. "Bill" Worsham, who preceded her in death in 1993. They retired to Shelby County in 1971, where she lived until her health took her to North Carolina in 2007. She was a loving mother who was a full time homemaker and avid supporter of her children's activities growing up, and continued with grandchildren's activities whenever possible with a road trip.
