Mrs. Bertha Sloop Dies Today in Bell, Ca
Mrs. Bertha L. Sloop, 73, mother of J. Randall Sloop and Clyde L. Sloop of Caldwell, passed away this morning at Bell, Calif., where she had lived for the past two years.
She was born Jan. 1, 1870 at Altoona, Iowa. Before moving to California two years ago, she lived in Caldwell for about two years.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Finkle of Bell, Calif., Mrs. Evelyn Hansen of San Diego, Mrs. Edna Maley of Portland and Mrs. Electa Almandinger of Spokane and three sons, Perry R. Sloop of Fort Collins and J. Randall and Clyde L. Sloop, both of Caldwell.
