David "Pirate" Carl Reinagle, 78 of Matlacha Isles, Florida passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 18, 1942 in Chicago, Illinios to Raymond Reinagle and Edith (nee: Johnson) Reinagle. David was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Navy. He retired after many years as a Firefighter in Chicago, Avon Park, FL and Greater Pine Island. "Chi-Town" was past-President of the Nam Knights Motorcycle Club, most recently with the Suncoast Chapter. He enjoyed his Harley, American Muscle Hot Rods, Dirt Bike Racing, Drag Racing and Boating. David was a Proud American! He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine "Cat" Reinagle; children, Debbie (Joe) Stelzik, Michael (Kim) Reinagle, Dawn (Keven) Nicholson; stepchildren, Marie (Jeff) Cappello, Louis Cappello, Catherine (Sean) Sullivan; brother Dan (Judy) Reinagle; sister Sharron (David) Stangle; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rita Reinagle.
