Mary Ann Scott married Oscar E. Leach Aug. 7, 1881. They both died young but it is believed they had two children before their deaths, Myrtle Jane Leach born in 1882 and William Leach born in 1884. Mary Ann's parents James F. and Rachel Jane (Ellis) Scott raised their grandchildren after Oscar and Mary Ann's deaths.
