Erwin J. Daniels, 85, formerly of 1103 Oakland Ave., a resident of Sunny Ridge Nursing Center, died there unexpectedly Thursday evening.
Mr. Daniels was born June 19, 1897, in Sheboygan, son of Rynard and Ada Smies Daniels. On March 8, 1919, he married Lorena Pfister in Sheboygan. Mrs. Daniels died June 13, 1972.
Mr. Daniels was employed by the city of Sheboygan for 50 years as a motorman conductor and bus driver. He retired in 1973.
He is survived by one son, Harvey of St. Petersburg, Fla. ; one daughter Mrs. Evelyn Felch of Hualapai, Ariz; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Private funeral services will be held Monday at Nick-el-Lippert Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
