Dan was born March 11, 1934 in Enid to Tom and Elizabeth "Betty" (Edwards) Dillingham and passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Dan attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1952. He then attended Colorado University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in finance.

He was drafted into the United States Army in 1956. He did basic training at Fort Hood and served in Frankfurt, Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1958. On April 23, 1960, he married the love of his life, Kay Camp in the First Presbyterian Church in Enid.

Dan owned and operated Dillingham Insurance for 67 years and was in the office this past Thursday before he passed. He was a Deacon and Elder in the First Presbyterian Church and a member of Westminster Presbyterian.

Dan was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2016. He was elected to two terms as the Director of the Kansas City Federal Reserve for six years. He was a trustee of Memorial Park Cemetery and a board member of Phillip's University and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was very active in countless community and charitable organizations throughout Enid and beyond.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kay, of the home; children, Jed and Cathy Dillingham of Enid; daughter, Andria D. Cain and Bruce Gingrich of Houston; Pete and Annie Dillingham; Lori D. Evans; Chad and Lisa Dillingham, all of Enid; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Lou; brother, Tom; granddaughter, Emily; grandson, Tyler and nephew, Matt.
