Beatrice was born in Philadelphia and moved to Abington when she entered 7th grade. She was a graduate of Abington High School and Westminster College and received her Masters Degree from Temple University. She was a school teacher for many years at the Glenside Weldon Elementary School and she also taught at East Stroudsburg University. She had been a resident of Pocono Pines for many years. She had lived at Ann’s Choice in Warminster, PA from 2001 until moving to Brightview Woodbury Lake in 2011.
Beatrice enjoyed gardening and was a great baker. She was a past president of Clymer Library in the Poconos and loved taking walks in the mountains. She was devoted to her church where she was a member of the choir and was a Sunday School teacher. Beatrice loved traveling with her husband Keith. They managed to visit all 50 states over the years. She lived for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were private.
