Sara Jane (Sally) Baronner Miller, of Tyrone passed away Monday March 22, 2021 surrounded by her family at Penn Highlands Tyrone.

She was born December 6, 1931 in Tyrone a daughter of Hubert W. and Lillian (Stoner) Baronner. On January 3, 1953 in Winchester,Virginia she married George W. Miller Jr. He died January 17, 1983.

Surviving are grandchildren; Eric Welsh (Tara), Jennifer Gailey and Sara Stazewski (Jake), great-grandchildren; Avery and Noah Welsh, Austin and Elise Gailey, Benjamin and Ezekiel Stazewski, a sister, Betsy Chatfield (Glen) of Bradfordwoods, nieces and nephews; Barbara Anderson, Natalie Atri, Brenda McConathy, Mary Pat Allen, Renee Majorzak, Erin Lewis, Tom P. and Tim Baronner, Wayne Chatfield and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Ann Miller Welsh, a brother Tom and sister-in-law Shirley Anderson.

Sally graduated from Tyrone High School Class of 1949 and from Philipsburg State Hospital in 1952 as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Community Nurse from 1955-1956 and was employed at Tyrone Hospital as a OB Nurse until 1995.

Sally was active in the First Presbyterian Church, Tyrone serving as an Elder, Deacon, Mariners, Quilting group, Bazaar Bunch and Meals on Wheels. She volunteered at the Tyrone Food Bank, Tyrone Hospital Auxiliary and earned her 50 year pin for the Blood Bank. She was an active member of the Crystal Spring.

Private services and interment will be held at Blair Memorial Park.
