Nevin P Baer, 91, of Dayton, died in Bowles nursing home at Clark's Hill at 8 p.m. Wednesday. He was admitted there Saturday night. Born east of Dayton, he was a retired farmer and spent his life in this community. He formerly lived two miles east of here on a farm entered by his great-grandfather in 1824. He moved to Dayton when he retired several years ago. He was married in 1892 to Alice Brindle who died last June and was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are a daughter Mrs William Kemper of Lafayette R#6 and a son, Floyd of Maywood, Illinois. Buried in Dayton Cemetery.
