She was born March 18, 1958 in Maryland, daughter of the late Robert Howes Sr. and Grace (Grimes) Howes. Known as Patty, she formerly worked as a deli clerk at Borman's Market.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Howes.
Mrs. Jestes is survived by her husband, James Jestes Sr.; daughter Casey Jestes; stepdaughter Kelie Tatro of Laurel; stepson Jimmy Jestes of Laurel; grandchildren Kyle and Cara Jestes; brother Bobby Howes Jr. of Highland; and several aunts and uncles.
