PARKERSBURG - Hazel Mae Scott Somerville, 79, of Parkersburg died March 25, 2004, at the St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born Oct. 17, 1924, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Walter and Laura Agnes Wise Scott.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Junior Somerville; three children, Warren Dempsie "Butch" Somerville and wife, Paula, of Vienna, Patricia June Yazombek and husband, Joseph, of Marietta, M.E. "Bink" Somerville and wife, Lisa, of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Christy Somerville Porter and husband, Larry, of Vienna, Jason Somerville and wife, Shelly, of Vienna, Kyle Somerville, Cody Somerville and Braelli Somerville, all of Parkersburg; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janie Juanita Scott Farrell of Vienna, Arlene Scott Kerns of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Dempsie Scott and sister, Edna Scott McEntire.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Father Edward Bell officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
