She was a member of the Berea church of Christ for more than thirty years. She was ever ready to attend meeting until she became so afflicted that she could not go. She bore her suffering with great patience.
For many months she endured pain, yet no murmur ever crossed her lips. She was a mother to the orphan and a friend to the poor. She was ever ready to help those in distress. Let us weep not for her as those who have no hope. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
