Mrs. Katheryn Mildred Adams, 73, of Douglasville, died April 19, 1999. She was born in Gordon County March 5, 1926, daughter of the late Frank and Elma Nix. She was retired as a cashier and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville where she had been a Sunday School teacher and choir member.

Survivors include her son, Duane and Nancy Adams of Douglasville; daughter Brenda and Jerry Glanville of Roswell; brothers Hudson Nix of Roswell; and Marvin Nix of Atlanta; sisters, Sarah Phillips, Alice Reese and Louise Johnson, all of Fairmount, GA and Vivian Douglas of Austell; four grandchildren.

The funeral service at Whitley-Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home with Interment in the Douglasville City Cemetery.
