William Stanley "Stan" Gandy, 66, was the son of the late George Wesley and Earlene McLendon Gandy, he was a retired electrician and painter. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, the Thomasville and Whigham Masonic Lodges and the American Legion Post #144 in Pelham and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Gandy is survived by his wife Sarah Jan Godwin Gandy, children Sheila Marie Gandy Humphries and husband Chris, Ronnie Gandy and wife Jessica, grandchildren Jesse Humphries, Paige Humphries, Ty Gandy, Trhett Gandy, sisters Kay Lamb and husband Lester, Linda Sellars and husband Will, Gayle Hoke and husband George, Shelba Thomas, Linda Gandy, brothers Winfred Gandy and wife Reba, Lavaughn Gandy and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Emerson Gandy and Harold Gandy.
