A practicing physician for 40 years, Lucian was most proud of the lives he saved, the babies he delivered, and the many, many residents he prepared for their own careers in his 20 years spent chairing hospital residencies. In his spare time, Lucian loved fishing, boating, carpentry, reading, and Scrabble.
Lucian had a very long life full of love and is survived by his wife, Cynthia Capobianco; his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Julie Capobianco, his daughters, Jennifer, Regina, and Abigail Capobianco; and his two grandchildren, Matthew and Marcus Capobianco. The last of his siblings to pass, Lucian is survived by his numerous loving nieces and nephews, as well as by many friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, from 4 until 6 p.m., at Bibber Memorial Chapel, located at 67 Summer St., Kennebunk, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, also at Bibber Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk. www.bibberfuneral.com.
