Judith Ann "Judy" (Southard) Bonner, 85, of Anderson, died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on March 25, 2021.

Judy was born March 5, 1936 in Anderson, the daughter of Omer and Mary Catherine (Newman) Southard.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Homemaker's Club, P.T. A. and Ft. Wayne Railroad Historical Society.

She is survived by two daughters, Diana (Skip) Ockomon, Carla (John) Atteberry; her brother, Duane Southard; ten grandchildren, Mindy (Trevor) Schaefer, Josh (Candice) Beckley, Melissa (Jon) Heffelfinger, Audrey Fessler, Jessy (Tiffany) Beckley, Jake (Brittany) Ockomon, Austin (Ashley Swartz) Ockomon, Alisa Montgomery, Jennifer DeLima, and Lindsay Atteberry; 20 great-grandchildren, Alexis (Ben) Dunkleburger, Rylan (Cianna) Schaefer, Dylan Schaefer, Jaquelyn Schaefer, Samara Beckley, Dravin Beckley, Grace Goodwin, Kamilla Beckley, Macie Collett, Cali Collett, Willie Heffelfinger, Conner Heffelfinger, Maggie Heffelfinger, Jaiden Woods, Keegan McGonigle, Kaiden McGonigle, Jesslyn Fessler, Emma Ockomon, Zoe DeLima, Dillon McKinsey; one great-great-granddaughter, Amaya Schaefer; several nieces and nephews and special care givers, Mary and Patsy.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl whom she married June 12, 1955, her brother, Herb Southard, sister, Carolyn Jennings, and her great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Schaefer.

Services will be 1 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Central Indiana, 3500 DePauw Blvd., Suite 2070, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
