Richard C. Stidd 73, of Kearney, NE, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away September 19, 2005. He was born October 4, 1931 in Indianapolis to Vernon and Arvilla (Dove) Stidd. Richard was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in the Korean War, and worked for Uniroyal Rubber Company for 33 years. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23 at 12:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with visitation Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross."
