A true gift to our family went to Heaven last night, Saturday, March 27, 2021. Words can't express how heartbroken we are - Alley was a blessing. She came into my Dad's life during darkness and brought light. Alley was a beautiful spirit. As a former 2nd grade teacher, she was truly the most amazing grandmother to my kids - the many, many adventures we had with her over the years will be something my kids will cherish forever. She was always there for them - celebrating every event and milestone, big or small. She was like a mother to me here on Earth while my own mother watched over me from up above. She was kind, compassionate and the best listener. I will miss our nightly phone conversations talking about our adventures of the day. She was energetic and goofy - she made us laugh every time we were together (I can't tell you how many times she accidentally put her pants or shirt on backwards). Just her very presence lit up a room. She fit into my Dad's life perfectly - with her energetic nature, kind ways, love for fitness and adventure and even her picky eating (never thought Dad would meet his match in that department). She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure and I am thankful for the time we had with her. I feel beyond lucky to have had two incredible women to look up to as a mother figure. Thanking God for bringing Alley into our lives and holding those memories close to my heart.

Alley's family will be celebrating her life privately. Cremation was private.
