David E. Adcock, 54, a senior writer/radio personality, died of heart failure Wednesday, February 21, 2001, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Visitatin is noon today at Nowell-Flippen Funeral Home. Services are 1 p.m. today at the funeral home with burial in Jessamine Cemetery.
Mr. Adcock was a native of Jackson and a resident of Ridgeland for over 20 years. He was employed by Comminication Arts for over 15 yearas as a senior writer. He was also a radio personality who producted and hosted the popular radio show "Toons 'Till 2." Mr. Adcock was the winner of many local and natinoal production awards. he was also a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Surviors include; girlfriend, Victoria Bracknell of Pearl; father, Ernest J. Adcock; mother, Jean M. Adcock; son, Sam Adcock; and brother, Michael Adcock, all of Ridgeland.
