Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Efird, Sr. and Beatrice Strickland-Efird; and one brother, Billy Wayne Efird.
He is survived by one brother, Alfred Lonso Efird, Jr. of Parkton; three sisters: Debra Melton (David) of Greensboro, Brenda Serafino of Fayetteville; and Carrie Efird Blackwell (Phillip) of Saint Pauls; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Andy White officiating.
