Thomas Kiernan SR. born in 1828 came to Cuddlebackville from West Meath Ireland and married Mary Jane McShane. They had among others Catherine Kiernan who married Patrick Sheil and Nicholas Kiernan who married Laura Crowley. Nicholas and Laura son was Thomas Patrick Kiernan 1911-1999 my husband.
Nicholas McShane from Armagh Ireland in about 1834 and his wife Catherine Ann Righter (Writter) was born in PA. Their 2 daughters among others are Mary Jane McShane (see above) and her baby sister Catherine Jane McShane who married a cousin Thomas Kiernan.
They are all buried in Holy name.
