Master Cael Eddie the son of Dallas and Paige Draper Eddie of the Tanglewood Community died at 5:55 p.m. Thursday evening April 1, 2021 at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville where he entered this life at 6:53 a.m. Wednesday morning March 31, 2021 making his journey on earth 1 day, 11 hours and 2 minutes.
Private graveside services and interment were conducted on Saturday morning April 3rd at 11 a.m. at the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens with the family minister, Samuel Willcut, minister of the Montrose Church of Christ, delivering the message of hope to the family.
He was born Cael David Eddie and was the son of Iowa native Dallas Francis Eddie and Pleasant Shade Community native Lauren Paige Draper and the little brother of Stella Eddie.
Others survivors include the maternal grandparents, Roger and Cynthia Brown Draper of the Pleasant Shade Community; paternal grandparents, Connie Heissel and husband Kevin of LeMars, Iowa, Kyle David Eddie and wife Lesa of Storm Lake, Iowa; paternal great-grandmother, Kathryn Dick also of Storm Lake, Iowa; aunt, Jessica Draper Jolley and husband Adam and their daughter Madelyn, uncle, Justin Draper and wife Mary Parker Draper all of the Tanglewood Community.
