David Francisco was born in Beaumont, CA to Roy and Frances Francisco. The family moved to Everett, WA in 1939. He graduated from Everett High School in 1952, and studied Art at Everett Community College, University of Washington, Cornish School of Art, and Seattle Pacific College. He created many drawings and paintings throughout his lifetime.

David was a draftsman at Boeing for 13 years, drawing specs for airplanes and missiles, such as the Bomarc. He was a special education teacher at Meany and McClure Middle Schools in the Seattle School District for 25 years.

As a member of the Magnolia United Methodist Church, he served in many ways and had many friends. David was an avid reader who enjoyed Bible studies and challenged himself to learn about art, poetry, history, politics, weather, astronomy, and the space program.

David was a gentle and caring man, always kind to seniors and children. His quirky sense of humor, terrible dad jokes, and pranks were well known to his family and friends. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed sharing their lives and accomplishments.

David passed away at his home in Edmonds. He is survived by Rosalie, his wife of 53 years; children Matthew, Christopher, Michael, Patricia, and Caroline; 7 grandchildren; and his sister, Helen. Services will be held at a later date.
