Gene was the son of the late John and Rosie Bell Wines Rosborough and the widow of Kay Metcalf Rosborough who passed away in 2018. He was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church. Gene was retired from Spartan Mills as the personnel manager.
Left to cherish his memory are four daughters: Kimberly Rosborough, Melinda Ruff (Marc), Rene' Pilgram (Blair), Alisha Reynolds (Justin), one son; Gene Wilson Rosborough, one brother; John Rosborough, one sister; Jeanette Rosborough, ten grandchildren; Casey Rosborough, Cody Rosborough, Tommy Rosborough, Megan Cohen, Drew Lynch, Jessie Gustin, Kayla Bragg, Tyler Bragg, Dylan Bragg, Zachary Bragg and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a sister-in-law Dot Rosborough.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens officiated by the Rev. Danny Garrett. The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
