Dad this world has many hero's, you'd have known most of them by name. It's apparent that they gave their best, and they deserve their fame.

But among all of the hero's this world has ever had, there's not one that we admired more than YOU our precious Dad.

You were more than just a hero, you never looked for praise, you were heroic in your quiet strength and your caring ways.

You may have not been famous as those you hear about or see, but you were everything, and so much more a hero ought to be.

When we hear about a hero, and the special things they've done, it reminds us of YOU, DAD.

For YOU were the greatest ONE

God Bless you always xxxxx

My precious Dad. Second Birthday without you. I miss you more and more as each day passes. At times the pain is almost unbearable, I thank God that I have Lyn.

Our family home is now sold, and I have moved to a smaller place. It breaks my heart having to give our home up, but you and I discussed this dad many years ago didn't we.

You understood why I would have to do this didn't you. It hurts so much having to say good bye to what was such a happy home.

One full of so much love and laughter.

I am so sorry. Please give me your strength to get through all of this, and also both yours and mum's blessing in me having to do this. Please give me a sign. God Bless you always Dad xxxxxx

11/3/22 One year ago you gained your "Angel Wings"

You never looked for praises, you were never one to boast. You just went on quietly working for the ones you loved the most.

Your dreams were seldom spoken, your wants were very few, and most of the time your worries went unspoken too .

You were there, a firm foundation through all our storms of life. A sturdy hand to hold on to in times of stress and strife. A true friend we could always turn to when times were good or bad.

One of our greatest blessings............

"YOU" The man that we called "DAD"

God Bless you most precious one. xxx

Dad was born in Bromsgrove Worcestershire, and was a family of 11 children. He met his beloved wife Joyce our mum at an early age.

They became friends in an air raid shelter, and as dad's house was bombed during a raid, my mum's parent offered them their home to stay.

This is where their love bloomed. They married at 18yrs, and had 64 wonderful years of marriage together. Celebrating their Diamond Wedding in 2004.

Recieving an official letter off our Majesty the Queen. They were very proud of that.

At this time they renewed their wedding vows, at St Leonard's Church. A wonderful occasion.

Dad was the most gentlest of men, selfless, hardworking and never had an unkind word to say about any one.

He alongside my mum became foster parents. They fostered many, many children.

They finally fostered a family of 5 children as their parents had both died. So we became a family of 9 for many years.

Dad worked full time in the week and on weekends he had a window cleaning round. This was so he could afford to take us every year on holiday to Cornwall. Such wonderful times.

They both loved children.

Dad had a great rapport with all of his children/grandchildren/ and great grandchildren . The lads and he loved football and as not all of them supported his football team, many a debate occured. Good times.

After his beloved wife, my mum,Joyce passed in 2008, I moved in with him to give him and I support. We had 12 wonderful years together, of which I treasure every single day of them.

I miss him immensely.

He is now finally reunited with his beloved wife Joyce ,daughter Margaret who passed at 5 weeks in 1947, and their son Michael who passed in 2005 aged 60yrs.

God Bless them all xxxxx
