Shirley was born March 27, 1924 in Omaha, NE., The daughter of Frank H. and Nina (Worchester) Clendenin. She married Donald G. Allen on March 17, 1946 in Detroit. Shirley was a homemaker and volunteered for the American Red Cross for over 25 years. She also was a Girl Scout leader. Shirley enjoyed bowling, gardening, sewing, playing cards, and crafts.
She is survived by her children, David (Linda) Allen, Phyllis (Rodger) Olson, Arthur (Roberta) Allen, Patricia Griffin, and Donald (Jill) Allen Jr.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; two brothers; two sisters; son-in-law, Steve Griffin.
Interment at Flint Memorial Park.
