ELKHART- Kenneth James Everett, 74, of Elkhart, died Sunday March 28, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1946 in LaPorte, Indiana to Kenneth Theodore and Mary Margaret (Fuzey) Everett.

On March 12, 1966 in Edwardsburg, MI he married Carole Louise Brown. She survives along with 5 children, Lisa (Mark) McCoy of South Bend, Patricia (Bill) Tinman, Kimberly Andert, Kelly Smith, Krystal Wright all of Elkhart; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Eugene Everett of New Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James Everett, and a sister Patricia Weaver.

Kenneth worked for City Roofing as a roofer and estimator for many years. He was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge #599, he enjoyed working on vehicles, tinkering in his garage, boating, and fishing on the Tri-Lakes in Michigan and spending time with his grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
