A graveside service will be held for Jack Shelton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Williams Cemetery, Hwy 64 E., Tyler, Texas with Steve Layton officiating.
Jackie Doyle Shelton was born September 23, 1936 in Edom, Texas. He had been a resident of Arp most of his life, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Jackie worked as a truck-driver, and attended Victory Road Baptist Church in Kilgore, Texas for many years.
Jack passed away at the age of 84 on April 5, 2021 in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecil Ann Shelton; parents, Bill & Estelene Shelton; daughter, Janet Latyon; son, Jeff Shelton; and brother, Royce Shelton.
Survivors include his daughter, Sherry Marasse; son-in-law, Steve Layton; brothers and sisters, Charles Shelton, Jerry Shelton, Kevin Patrick Shelton, Mike Shelton, Sandra Warner, and Lequita Westbrook; three grandchildren, Erin Marler, Christopher Layton, and Jessica Myers; and five great-grandchildren.
