Friends in Barre will be sorry to learn of the death of Ralph Earl Bennett, 52, January 16, in Springfield, Mass., after a long illness. A resident of Barre for several years some time ago, he was born in Sheffield. He was a member of the Salvation Army and was active in the Barre organization while in residence here. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Foster) Bennett and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held in Holyoke, Mass., January 19, and were conducted by the Salvation Army. Burial was in the Forestdale cemetery, Holyoke.
