Joseph grew up in Brooklyn, NY and worked in New York City as well as Albany in the financial industry.
He loved playing golf, his NY Giants and talking politics. After meeting Joe once, people would remember him. At 6 foot-6 inches tall, he was not easily missed in a crowd but most importantly, within moments, one would learn that Joseph Michael Abbruzzese was one of the most genuine people you'd ever meet. Joe's enthusiasm, intelligence and kindness drew you to him. His joking humor made family and friends thoroughly enjoy Joe during their visits.
Devoted to his wife Adrianne for over 53 years, dedicated father to his daughters, Virginia and Kristina, loving older brother to Anthony and Michael, proud father in law of Donald and a friend for life to those that saw his wonderful nature.
Joe knew the value of family and friendship. He knew the importance of supporting those he loved and was supported and loved in return. He was a wonderful father and neighbor. What Joe would most likely want those he cared for to remember is that he felt truly blessed.
Burial with military honors will take place at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
