Father: Simon Smith Casualty of the Civil War.

Mother: Nancy Hickox daughter of David Hickox & Sarah Altman

Sons: 4
Arthur Sylvester Ford, Owen Harvey Ford, Augustine Ford, and Baly Ford.

I went to the cemetery in Hickox, Ga. when my dad Vernell King was still alive, to visit my great-grand-mother & great-grand- father: Jane "Jennie" Smith Ford's grave and Jessee Ford's grave. We went to Hickox, Georgia about twice a year to visit the graves. Last time my dad and I visited their graves, the graves were no longer there. It was messed up when they redone my other Great-Grand-parents grave, William A. & Mary(Hickox)King. I found one brick that went to the graves of Jane "Jennie" and Jessee Ford.
Jennie and Jessee were buried around where the cedar trees are ,left of the small white building in front.
I know their graves are close to the King's grave. There names are not in the cemetery list online. I went to the cemetery a lot in the past to visit their grave site. Their graves were there then, but not now. Sad.
