Germaine S. Aben, 91, of 12739 Biola Ave., La Mirada, Calif., formerly of Moline, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 17, 1990, at Moreno Valley General Hospital, Moreno Valley, Calif.
Services were held at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Montebello, Calif., with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello. Moritz Funeral Home, Montebello, handled arrangements. Memorials were to the American Heart Association.
The former Germaine Rekiere was born Dec. 29, 1898 in Bruge, Belgium, to Bernard Rekiere and Valentine (Sevenandt) Rekiere. She married Rene Aben in 1924 in Moline. He died Sept. 27, 1982.
Mrs. Aben was employed for several years at the former Rejiere Meat Market in Moline before moving to California.
Survivors included a daughter, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
