Wrote "Rocky Mountain Saints". One of the best 19th-century books on the Mormon Theocracy in Utah. Published in 1873. Still available 2021 at Amazon. Still influential.

Gravesite Details

Buried in Lone Mountain Cemetery became Laurel Hill Cemetery. All San Francisco cemeteries evicted to Coloma, Calif late 1800's, early 1900's. He may have been relocated to Cypress Cemetery in Coloma. His grave may have been plowed under, too.
