A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Peru, with J. A. Small officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Webster Park. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Thursday, at the church. Due to current state of Illinois guidelines, we kindly request that attendees follow social distancing requirements and wear face coverings. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born on January 28, 1927, in Spring Valley to Joseph and Lena (Heuser) Brabender. She married Edward Oscepinski, in 1949, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Peru. After his passing, she later married Robert "Red" Zimmerman, in 1963, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Peru. She attended St. Joseph's Church and was active in the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her son, Joseph E. (Karen) Oscepinski, of Peru; and two grandchildren, Joseph Oscepinski, Jr., of Peru, and Amy Oscepinski, of Mendota; and three great-granddaughters, Kamryn, Nora, and Whitney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Edward on August 20, 1962; second husband, Robert "Red," on August 7, 1993; and her brother, Jack Dellinger.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
